Support & Guidance Once you have gained your initial qualification (Certificate in Curative Hypnotherapy) and are ready to commence your new career, the Advanced Diploma Course is designed to provide the guidance and support required in the initial stages of setting up and running a successful practice.

CPD  This method of Continued Professional Development is completely individual, identifying the areas which have been mastered as well as those which would benefit from guidance or improvement.

One-to-One Coaching Each therapist has their own individual strengths and weaknesses and each of their clients are unique; therefore this Stage 2 Course was designed with maximum flexibility, tailored to the individual needs of the student but covering all necessary points. Additionally, it enables them to remain up-to-date with any advancement/ improvements in the understanding or application of the treatment since initial training.

Timing

  • The Stage Two Course is best started in advance of seeing first paying client, but can be commenced at any time.
  • Each module takes between 3 and 6 submissions on average to complete
  • [please note, fees are payable per module, not per submission]
  • Average completion time is two or three modules per year.
  • There are no deadlines set, each practitioner is encouraged to work at their own speed and to get as much out of each module as possible.  The amount of hours devoted to each submission will vary depending on the commitment, requirements and needs of each practitioner.

Course Content

The course comprises nine modules. The various sections of the modules target different areas of treatment –

    • Explanations to clients to ensure they have a level of understanding which will enable them to co-operate easily;
    • Introducing various techniques; understanding and using the best methods possible to ensure success with each technique;
    • Analysis of treatment direction (questioning, phrasing, order, terminology) – increasing efficiency and success rate;
    • Exploring your business set-up, practice and marketing to further enhance or boost your business.

This supervision course is best begun in advance of seeing your first client; however it is available to any therapist who has graduated from our Stage 1 (practical) Course within the last five years.  To apply, simply complete the form.

Module 3

  • Analysis of preferred techniques.
  • Evaluating investigation techniques and directions
  • Dealing effectively with client’s comments, questions and reactions.
  • Student’s own Case Study for feedback, guidance and assessment.

Module 4

  • Evaluation of Specific Questioning
  • Analysis of treatment direction.
  • Implementation of SRBC.
  • Application of conscious/subconscious understanding.
  • Ramifications of explanations, information and attitude
  • Awareness of misdirection, assumption and leading.

 

Module 5

  • Student’s own Case Study for feedback, guidance and assessment
  • Analysis of session direction.
  • Exploration of the subconscious information
  • Cause or  ISE/trigger/confirmatory incident
  • Correction of reactions, emotions and effects.
  • Results on symptoms – emotional, mental, somatic, behavioural.

Module 6

  • Advertising, marketing & promotion of your practice.
  • Identifying any areas for improved business (including your appointment system, cancellation policy etc)
  • How your clients perceive you and the effects this may have.
  • Student’s own case review for guidance
  • Effects of own experience, experimentation and CPD on efficiency, efficacy and expediency of treatment.

Module 7

  • Reinterpretation, Correction and symptom dissolution
  • Ensuring all effects of relevant incidents are neutralised.
  • Checking Procedures.
  • Student’s own Case study  – analysis of techniques, phrasing, terminology and direction.

Module 8

  • Working with groups
  • Advantages/disadvantages of self-Hypnosis.
  • Limitations, dangers and ramifications of group work
    •  Client’s homework, self-help and required input
    •  Full analysis of explanations, instructions, suggestions given to client
    • Examination of induction, termination and application methods.

Module 9

Full case history, from initial consultation through to treatment conclusion, incorporating all that has been gained from the previous modules, experience in practice and relevant other training/CPD.

Any final adjustments, additions or omissions are brought to the student’s attention, so that this final case history can be used as submission for the Diploma Examination
