We receive a steady stream of enquiries from people seeking a therapist who has trained to provide curative hypnotherapy and/or LCH treatment. In the past we have had to refer them to any number of membership organisations so that they may continue their search.
In order to provide just one point of reference we now have a 'find a therapist' directory on this site. If you are a past graduate of one of our training courses, please submit your details so that these potential patients can find you.

Technique-Enhancing Scripts:-
A CD is available for purchase which provids scripts which hypnotherapists may use to create audio CDs to be lent out to patients/clients. Each of the scripts is designed for the specific purpose of enhancing the patient's ability to respond to individual techniques. For more information/description, please click here.

Hypnotherapy Regulation:-
The Working Group for Hypnotherapy Regulation currently represents approximately 80% of the profession. In 2007 it initiated a programme with the eventual aim of establishing Voluntary Self Regulation. The process is fully democratic (one therapist, one vote). The National Occupational Standards (NOS) for Hypnotherapy was published in 2002 by Government's Skills for Health department. In 2010 these were updated for ratification in 2011. These are nationally set standards of best practice, and provide the framework around which our training is based. We use these NOS as a 'minimum standard' from which we progress to Curative Hypnotherapy practices and methodology. The full publication can be viewed by clicking here

A comprehensive document provided by the CNHC. This guides details the amount and type of CPD required from their members each year. The information will be of interest and use to all practitioners (not just CNHC members) as it explains the various purposes of CPD, provides examples of how it can be gained and a template which can be used to log your own CPD.
