Conducted in a supportive, controlled environment, with other qualified people who have a similar wish to analyse, update and practice their techniques, gain feedback, guidance and detailed supervision.

The techniques analysed will be induction, deepening and the gaining of verbal and non-verbal subconscious responses. Training will focus specifically on the techniques normally employed during the Initial Consultation and first two investigatory/questioning sessions so that these can then be used in practice with more skill and confidence.

Practice sessions will be conducted in groups of three; 1 therapist, 1 patient and 1 observer. The 'patient' and 'observer' will feed back what worked; what might benefit from re-wording or change of style or delivery; and some suggested re-wording or delivery style. Roles will then be rotated so that each attendee takes on each of the 3 positions in turn, for the therapists' choice of topic/technique.

The training will be facilitated by Mary Ratcliffe, who has been in practice since August 2006, has actively assisted in several Practical Courses as Teaching Assistant while completing the Diploma Course and has already run similar workshops. Mary gained her Diploma qualification in 2010.

Mary also has experience of giving feedback to students and her skills in this area have already been assessed and verified by the College.

The opportunity will also exist to work directly (one-on-one) with Mary on any other specific set-up or treatment issues of your own. To facilitate this, the application form provides space for you to list any additional topics you would like to cover – and these will be included where appropriate and wherever time is available.

The training will follow the LCH model and will therefore qualify for CPD credits.

A 20% discount on training fees is available to those who are actively continuing their professional development and who are therefore licensed as Lesserian® Curative Hypnotherapists.

Fee includes:-
For those who wish to take advantage of the discount but who are not yet licensed, an application form can be downloaded [here]. More information about the benefits, responsibilities and regulations regarding the trademark licence can be found [here].

As a very useful space in which to look at issues – in a group and on a one to one basis......very reassuring......and the learning from one another is invaluable.

A really great, confidence-boosting bridge or link between the Diploma course and sitting in front of your first client. I went home thinking about all the things I could do plus some really practical tasks to help me forward

It’s a great way to get feedback both from your peers and someone more experienced than you. It helps you to realise that you are not the only one to lack confidence.

Clarifies and consolidates what we have already learnt.

That was such a valuable exercise! I can now see areas that are going to need work and practice but without feeling swamped by the task. I am so glad I went.

I just found the whole experience amazingly helpful and would recommend it to anyone.
