Fircroft College of Adult Education is a residential college founded in 1909, based in the former family home of George Cadbury and set in six acres of landscaped grounds.
A deposit of £150 will enable you to commence the Homestudy section immediately. Those enroled on the Homestudy section are given priority for booking their place on the next Practical Course.
Full outstanding balance of fees must be received at least three weeks before the commencement of the Practical Course.
Please note, enroling for the Homestudy section does not include any obligation to proceed to the Practical Course, should you decide to postpone or cease your studies with us.
The backing of a proper professional organisation is essential to successful practice.
Graduates may apply to join the General Hypnotherapy Register, the Hypnotherapy Association and/or the Hypnotherapy Society.
Details of the Diploma Course, which guides and supports you throughout your first years in practice are automatically sent once initial qualification has been gained. This individually tailored Clinical Supervision completes your training, enabling you to sit the higher grade (diploma) examination.

The Homestudy is necessary to enable you to obtain maximum understanding from the Practical Course and is designed to make you challenge ‘accepted theories’ about how the subconscious works and how people create problems. |

Fees include subscription to the Hypnotherapy Association and the Hypnotherapy Society as a 'Student Member'.

| Practical Course | Ten days (five weekends) of witnessing the step-by-step treatment of volunteer patients with the opportunity of asking questions of them as well as the therapist and tutors. All the tools, techniques and understanding necessary are provided, along with supervised practice sessions, so you have demonstration, explanation and experience of each element. | Written materials | Course fee also includes all handouts, coursework, and individual guidance / feedback on written assignments.

| Refreshments | For each day of the Practical Course, morning and afternoon tea/coffee is included in the course cost, as well as choice of lunch (hot/cold/vegetarian/etc) from the College's canteen.

Overnight accommodation during the Practical Course is available on site and/or nearby, if required. This is not included in course cost.

| **Self Hypnosis Tuition |
It is necessary for each student to be proficient in Self-hypnosis. If this skill has not been previously gained, a class will be organised for a Saturday evening during the Practical Course. Tuition fee for Self-hypnosis is not included in course fee. (Guide fee 2011: £45 per person) |

| We also strongly recommend that you attend a conference during your training with us. Conferences run by professional organisations provide the chance to consolidate your learning and the opportunity to meet those already in practice. Details and recommendations of relevant opportunities will be given to those on the Practical Course and are likely to cost in the region of £45-£85.

To provide you with support, guidance and advanced training during your first years in practice, the training continues
with the Diploma Course. This consists of nine modules which are payable
one unit at a time. On average, each module requires 3 to six submissions.
