Practical Section / Certificate Course
- A practical therapy has to be taught in a practical manner.
- Witness actual treatment from Consultation to Cure, with genuine Volunteer Patients.
- With a tutor/student ratio of 1:4, tuition, explanations, demonstrations, supervised practice, this course provides an unparrelled learning opportunity.
- At completion, you will have the ability to treat any of the vast array of problems with which this advanced therapy is capable of dealing.

Before you begin the Practical Course, we ask you to
devote a couple of hours each week to 'Homestudy'.
- The Homestudy Section consists of a total of seven modules which cover the basic knowledge underpinning Curative Hypnotherapy. Such as:-
- How the subconscious works;
- The different functions of the Conscious and Subconscious parts of the mind;
- How and why symptom suppression creates further problems;
- Encouraging you to look logically at some previously accepted theories.
- This Homestudy section not only guides you, but is also useful to the tutors who can gauge your current understanding and thus provide more specifically tailored information on the Practical Course.
- There is no specific time-span to this section of the course. It can comfortably be completed in 2-3 months, however some people have preferred to take considerably longer.
Once the Homestudy is completed, it need not be done again - so if you decided or needed to attend a Practical Course several months (or even years) after completing this section - your submissions are still valid and still useful to you and to your tutors.
While it is possible to undertake the Homestudy and Practical Sections concurrently, we recommend that the Homestudy be completed before commencing the practical course.

A series of five weekends where we are working with genuine Volunteer Patients.
Starting with the each patients’ first visit on day one of the course, you will witness and learn:-
- How to run the initial consultation
- How to decide what can be treated and how
- How to explain your treatment to the patient
- How to provide the treatment – from consultation through to location of causative information
- How and when to apply the various techniques and tools required
- How to overcome any difficulties that may arise
- How to correct the causative information to ensure disposal of the symptom(s).
The course covers all angles and topics to enable you to begin in practice and know how to deal with the vast array of problems for which your patients will request treatment.
Basic and advanced techniques are not simply taught to you - they are fully explained and demonstrated in actual use.
- You learn not just what they are, but
- how to use them
- when to use them and
- why you are using them.
- You witness the actual responses and have the opportunity to discuss them with the tutor/therapist as well as with the patients.
Such thoroughness cannot be gained through lectures, written papers, role-plays or demonstrations on 'models'.

Once you have gained your initial qualification (Certificate in Curative Hypnotherapy) and commenced your new career, the Diploma Course is designed to provide the guidance and support required in the initial stages of running a successful practice.
This method of Continued Professional Development is completely individual, identifying the areas which have been mastered as well as those which would benefit from improvement.
Each therapist has their own individual strengths and weaknesses and each of their patients is unique; therefore the Diploma Course was designed with maximum flexibility, tailored to the individual needs of the students but covering all necessary points. Additionally, it enables them to remain up-to-date with any advancement/ improvements in the understanding or application of the treatment since initial training.
The course comprises nine modules. The various sections of the modules target different areas of treatment –
- Explanations to patients; to ensure they have a level of understanding which will enable them to co-operate easily
- Introducing various techniques; understanding and using the best methods possible to ensure success with each technique
- Analysis of treatment direction (questioning, phrasing, order, terminology) – increasing efficiency and success rate.
- Explores your business set-up, practice and marketing to further enhance or boost your business.
